2005
MAIN STAGE The bill for Sunday is:
Peter Rudkin Vocals, Guitar, Backing Vocals
I had my first initiation into the world of Blues music at the age of 13, when Peter Wolfe and I started our first band. After that we split up and went our different ways for a period but always remained good friends. Around 7 years later we were playing together in the Strangebrew rock band and have been together since. We both longed to play "the Blues" and eventually formed "JUST BLUES" from square one and have built on it making it better and better. My basic hunger for Blues music is now being fed.
Musical influences; Peter Greens Fleetwood Mac, John Mayals Bluesbreakers, Eric Clapton / Cream, Muddy Waters, Robert Cray, B. B. King ------- and many more.
Peter Rudkin They say nothing is for ever, and some things will never end but, sadly, some do, and it is with great sadness that I announce that from the end of September 2005, Peter Rudkin, with whom I have shared many stages with over the passed 40 years (give or take a week or two), is to retire from the band, for a warmer climate eventually. The band and I wish him well with what ever falls his way and good luck for the future. No more for now. If you want to know more come and see us at the gigs. If you want to send Peter a message, you can do so in the visitors book, I'm sure he would appreciate it. Peter Wolfe.
