Formed Just Blues, together with life long friend Peter Rudkin. After playing in various bands since their school days.
In the early 90's they both departed from the band Strangebrew. After all those years of not wishing to sing, I became joint vocalist with Peter, because we could not find a suitable candidate; and we have both never looked back.
Musical influences; Peter Green, Gary Moore, Eric Clapton, and, in later years, Mark Ford, Charlie Musselwhite, Kevin Wells.

I started playing bass at the age of 15, my father being my main influence, and spent several years with local bands doing the pub circuit. At about age 25 I turned pro and spent some time touring with the Roulettes and The Andre de Moller band. My main influences are Mark King, Stu Hamm, Billy Sheehan. My main listening preferences are Eric Clapton, Jeff Healey and SRV.

Alasdair Williamson Weanie, age 44. I learned to play and sing in my parents hotel, on a Scottish island by the name of Millport Isle of Cumbrae, from the age of nine.
After leaving school, I spread my wings and played with various club bands in Glasgow for several years. Moving on from the cut and thrust of the Glasgow club life, I worked on the cruise ships with The Royal Caribbean Cruise Line Company, playing onboard the luxury ships in the Caribbean and American waters, gaining loads of good experience
After this I moved to Essex, working with several different types of bands, the last one being The Andre De Moller Band, with Gary and Sandy, which lead me to joining up with Just Blues.
Musical Influences are....Mark King, Muddy Waters, Nine Below Zero [Gerry McAvoy], BB King, along with many other blues greats [By the Wei]

I started playing the drums at the age of 15 and turned PRO at 21. Spent 10 years gaining a lot of knowledge and playing all types of music in many different countries after which I worked with many of the local bands, including The Martells and The Andre de Moller Band. I am now looking forward to a long and happy future with Just Blues.
Musical Influences include Jeff Porcoro, Dave Weckle, Jon Bonham, BB King, Eric Clapton and many more.
