JUST NEWS - 2005
December 2005
Well, here we are already in December 2005 and a lot has gone
under the bridge this year.
This section we have aptly named JUST NEWS and we will
keep events up to date as they happen.
Our guest book, for more than one reason, has had to be
deleted, so again its starting from scratch. So keep your mails coming. We
like to here all your comments and questions. PW.

The end of year News Breaking story is that Mr
Mark Sharpe (ex of The Mean Red
Spiders) is to join the fold in the New Year, which we
are all very excited about. We resume giging 2/2/06 at The White
Lodge, Attlebrough, which will be Mark's first gig with us. A gig
not to miss will be April 1st at the Milestone where we are planning
to have Mark and Giles. So for all you harp men out there, you know
it will be good.
We would like to wish all our friends and fans a very
Happy Christmas and New year. Thanks for your support throughout
2005 and we look forward to seeing you in the New Year at a gig near you.
Please sign the guest book if you have time.

Sutton Bridge, 17/12/2005
Great venue down stairs in the cellar. Hi to the
couple that travelled down from Spalding. Being so close to Christmas
the turnout was not as good as it could be, but next time we hope it
will be packed to capacity. Giles played some truly magnificent harp.
STARFIELD played up on the way out as the stairs were kin steep and ali
found out its true weight. We are back there in May 06.
The Royal Oak Ipswich 10/12/2005
A truly Great gig, made
even better with Harmonica from Giles King, who needs no introduction to
any part of this countries blues scene. Giles has agreed to kindly help
us out where and when he can, until we find a permanent harp player.
This is due to Joe's withdrawal from the band due to pressures of work
and our busy timetable. He felt he could not give the commitment
required, but still may gig with us from time to time.

In September 2005
Sandy organised a Charity Event at The Elizabeth
Hotel, Copdock, Ipswich, which was in aid of The Bethany Tayla Woods
Fund. Our great friend Geno and the brilliant Ram Jam Band headlined for
us and we played support to a packed house. Our thanks to Stephen Foster at
BBC Radio Suffolk for his help and being MC for the night.
As you all now know, Pete has retired from the band and Gary
has moved over from Bass to Guitar, a position that he is well capable of
and is looking forward to. We now welcome Alistair on Bass and Vocals.
